On September 26, 2025, Dr. Aslı Şahinkaya Ermiş’s Documentary Cinema course hosted our alumna, Buse Ebru Bozan, who currently works at TRT In-House Productions.

Our students received information about the TRT Documentary Competition, watched award-winning films, and gained valuable insights into the documentary production process as well as the pre-production and post-production stages.

The class concluded with fruitful discussions on the questions: “What should be the stance of a documentary filmmaker?” and “How do creative processes emerge in documentary filmmaking?”
