After gaining theoretical knowledge about filmmaking in the Short Film Making I course from the Radio, Television and Cinema Department courses, the students in the second semester experience the filmmaking process practically in the Short Film Making II course. The students, who are divided into groups, write their scripts for their films with the instructors' support, then make a work-sharing and form their short movie production and management film crew.
In this process, students who experience the whole process of making a film have the opportunity to practice the theoretical knowledge they have learned in the previous semester. Short Film Screening Day is organized after the students complete every step of filming with enthusiasm and fun. In the screenings, which are open to everyone with the participation of students' friends and family members, students have the opportunity to meet the audience with the films they have prepared throughout the semester. This process is an exciting and unforgettable experience for a Radio, Television and Cinema student.
